I started off by creating this character here. i wanted my main character in a suit but at this stage i was still following the old story. I like how he turned out but just didn't feel right to me

In the original story the would be a page where the viewer would see a riot between prioners and riot police so i began drawing many in diferent poses.

This one here was going to be dead on the floor bleeding out but instead he looked as though he was dancing.

It would have looked as though he was dead when i did the shading and colour.

Again this character was another riot officer being strangled from behind and pointing his gun at the prisoner attacking him possibly going to shoot him.

This was the first one that I did and it turned out looking really good and I was really pleased with it. they weren't going to have any feet because the panel would have cropped them off.

After a while these characters started to really bore me. I liked them and they looked ood in my opinion but the attention to detail for every drawng, the folds in their clothing were taking too long and i was starting to panick.

I just decided to not carry one with them and I moved on to something new, more free and simpler.

This was just a random face the I created using bruch and ink for tone. At one point i was thinking about him being a character but then i decided to go down a much more simpler path.

I always wanted my characters to be distinguished by their faces and not much more so i focused on the faced more than anything else.

These are some design for the riot gear but it wasn't furturistic enough for the comic. Brush and ink again.

These are a lot more character designs that i created but none of them really felt right.

I was up one night and started to read an old Tin Tin comic that i had in my room and i had the idea of making my comic just as simple as Tin Tin. Tin Tin had block colour fre lines, it was very light in the way that the artst created it and i began travelling down that road.

This is obviously just a copy of a panel from Tin Tin that I did but i was mainly ust testing out how hard i had to push on the brush or how light to creat the same line quality.

I didn't want to copy Tin Tin exactly so I decided to try my own hand at simplistic charcter designs. These however wee from a book and disney films but again it was ust to test the line quality.

This was a very quick purely brush and ink drawing of a character that I did and he looked pretty cool. I remember reall liking his eyes and nose.

I tryed some more different drawings with those eyes and noses.

this was a kind of fisherman looking guy that was walking past me through town when i was having a coffee and i decided to quickly draw him. He turned out looking pretty cool but he had the Tin Tin eyes which i didn't want to copy.

This was all taking a long time and i wasn't really getting anywhere so i decided to ask my house mates to pose for and and I'd just take photographs of them and draw from those. Most of my Comic was made thanks to them and i couldn't have done it without them.

I gave him a sword here purely for the fun of it and I was still in my Marvel head and be you good or bad you have a crazy weapon.
